Taze Shepard


Taze has practiced law in Huntsville for over 40 years and is an Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated Attorney. He is a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee for the Northern District of Alabama.

Taze also represents businesses and individuals in complex bankruptcy and financial restructuring cases in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. 

Taze is an Alabama Bar Commissioner and former Vice President of the Alabama Bar Association, former President of the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program, and a member of the Legal Services Alabama Board of Directors. He is a member of the Committee of 100, a graduate of Huntsville Leadership - Class 25, and Huntsville Rotary Club.

Taze is a former Adjunct Professor of Law - University of Alabama School of Law, member of the Alabama State Board of Education, Athens State University Board of Trustees, the Alabama Space Science Commission, and the Alabama Supercomputer Authority.
